It Must Be My Turn

Gerard informed me the other day that I should not expect Will or Geoff to write on this blog ever. Oh. Probably true.

Anyway, it must be my turn for a crazy week... although I don't think I can really compete with Ashley. In fact, I couldn't even complete all those tasks... never mind with the energy and enthusiasm I am certain Ashley at least pretended to have. My week has comsumed by a far less monumental event than a baptism, marriage, or another hike up and down the east coast. I have been apartment hunting in Boston every morning, afternoon, and night. Either my eyes were dulling as I saw the same place yet again under another catchy title or I was running around Boston, Somerville, and Cambridge. We've seen a bunch of places, and it has been very helpful in learning what is out there and what is reasonable to expect for your dollar... And I think we have a place in Somerville right by Davis Square. We are going to meet the owner and hopefully put down all the deposits and fees tonight.

Anyway, it is a few minutes walk to the T and tons of little shops, restaurants, and pubs. Prime location! It is kind of like a mini Noho without all the people traipsing about in poor judgments of artistic expression. The apartment itself lacks curb appeal, but I think I can help it with some planters, fresh paint, and color. Inside we are getting an unusual amount of space for the price and location. Usually you would get a one bedroom. We're getting a 2 and 1/2, which is great for us and for visitors... so, if we get it please come stay with us in Boston any time! We'll find out if it's ours tonight!
