So there's a real post from me. We're off to Oregon tomorrow for my nephew's first communion.

I can add a little bit more to that. I'm not much of a correspondent, and even less of a blogger. However, for the sake of the Red Sox and some friends, I can include a little more than I might otherwise. Let's see, right now I'm reading two books, Wins, Losses and Lessons by Lou Holtz, and Small Houses by Ernest Flagg. The Holtz book probably has more "curb appeal" (see, I read posts too). Right now I'm at the point where he's busted three players for some sort of serious legal issue, but the police and university (Arkansas) won't press charges because it's a week before the big bowl game against Oklahoma. It's up to the football coach - so he suspends the players, and then gets trashed by the local and national media. Somehow, a young state attorney general will help Lou out. Lou goes on to a great career, and the attorney general becomes governor and then president.

Excellent! I will have to check out the books AND show Gerard that he was WRONG. I guess that we know what motivates you now. Also, to you and/or Erin, please get a Facebook profile, so we can spy on your life and see more pictures of all of you.
